The Role: Balancing Strategy and Execution

The Chief of Staff will operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and communication. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are alike, and you are energized by solving complex, cross-functional challenges, this role is for you.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Strategic Initiatives Management: Leading key cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Umurava's strategic goals and driving them to successful completion.

Operational Excellence: Managing organizational operations to ensure internal processes run smoothly, efficiently, and at scale.

Data-Driven Decision Support: Serving as a trusted advisor to the Management Team, compiling data, conducting research, and synthesizing information to inform critical, data-driven decisions.

Organizational Communication: Ensuring consistent, clear, and efficient communication flow across all teams, minimizing silos and maintaining transparency.

Mission Advancement: Directly contributing to the advancement of Umurava's mission by providing the connective tissue that links our vision to our daily activities.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, an expert organizer, and a pragmatic problem-solver. You are equally comfortable reviewing financial statements as you are drafting an all-hands presentation.

Essential Requirements:

Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in high-paced roles such as Strategy, Operations, Executive Assistance, or Project/Program Management.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority, influence stakeholders, and manage diverse project teams.

Analytical Rigor: A strong track record of using data to inform recommendations and drive decisions.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively.
