HEIDELBERG UNIVERSITY DAAD EPOS SCHOLARSHIP 2026-2027 IN GERMANY
Applications are now open for the Heidelberg University DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2026 in Germany. International students from around the world are invited to apply for this fully funded Master's scholarship for the 2026 academic intake. The scholarship supports students who wish to pursue the Master of Science in International Health (MScIH), a program that focuses on addressing health challenges associated with poverty in low- and middle-income countries. The scholarship is offered through the collaboration between German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Heidelberg University. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a citizen of a developing country (required for the EPOS scholarship). However, anyone can apply for admission to Heidelberg University.
- Must be a medical practitioner or hold a four-year bachelor's degree in social sciences or public health (minimum 240 ECTS).
- Must have at least one year of relevant professional experience in low- or middle-income countries.
- Must demonstrate English language proficiency with a TOEFL (IBT) score of 92–93, or an IELTS score of at least 6.5.
- The English requirement may be waived if English is the applicant's native language or if all university studies were conducted in English.
- Knowledge of the German language is not required.
