The financial support is specifically described as tuition-fee support through the CHANCEN Income Share Agreement (ISA).

Under the Study Now–Pay Later model, eligible students receive support for tuition fees during their studies and, after graduation, are expected to repay a portion of their income once they start earning.

The financial support opportunity announced by ICK is available for:

  • Advanced Diploma in Nursing (A1, Three-Year)
  • Advanced Diploma in Midwifery (A1, Three-Year)

This means applicants should understand that the opportunity is not presented as a conventional fully funded scholarship. It operates through the CHANCEN Income Share Agreement model.

Eligibility Criteria for the Financial Support

According to the official ICK financial-support notice, prospective applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Be a Rwandan citizen.
  • Female applicants are given an advantage.
  • Have graduated from Senior 6 or its equivalent by 2024 and later.
  • Have a General Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with combinations that include both Biology and Chemistry, with grades ranging from A to E in each of both subjects under the 2024 grading system.

Important Information About the CHANCEN Financial Support

Selected candidates should carefully understand the financial terms before accepting the support.

According to the ICK notice, selected candidates will be required to pay CHANCEN International Rwanda a commitment fee of RWF 200,000 per year for three years, representing their contribution toward the cost of their education. The notice states that this contribution is payable in quarterly installments of RWF 50,000 every three months.

The notice also states that admitted candidates will be required to meet CHANCEN Income Share Agreement requirements and attend an ISA workshop with their guardians before the starting date of classes.

Students granted CHANCEN financial support will be communicated by ICK and will start their studies with the September intake.
