Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, School Management, Curriculum Studies, or a related field.
- A Bachelor's Degree with exceptional experience may be considered for Nursery and Primary campuses.
- At least 7 years of successful teaching experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in school leadership.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience within educational institutions.
- Strong understanding of Rwanda's education system.
- Excellent ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and oversee the effective management of the school through responsibilities including:
Strategic Leadership
- Implement the school's vision, mission, and strategic plan.
- Lead Nursery, Primary, and Secondary sections as an integrated institution.
- Develop annual school improvement plans.
Academic Leadership
- Ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Supervise curriculum implementation.
- Monitor academic performance and examination results.
- Promote STEM education, Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital learning.
Human Resource Management
- Supervise Deputy Head Teachers, Heads of Departments, teachers, and support staff.
- Conduct staff performance appraisals.
- Promote continuous professional development.
Student Affairs
- Maintain student discipline and welfare.
- Promote child protection and safeguarding.
- Encourage leadership, sports, arts, and co-curricular activities.
- Foster a culture built on strong moral values.
Financial and Administrative Management
- Prepare and manage the school budget.
- Ensure efficient use of school resources.
- Maintain school facilities and assets.
Parent and Community Relations
- Build strong relationships with parents, NESA, and local authorities.
- Represent the school before government and community stakeholders.
- Promote student enrolment and positive public relations.
- Ensure excellent customer service.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education, REB, and NESA regulations.
- Submit timely reports to the Sector Education Inspector (SEI) and the Executive Principal.
