KWIGIRA 3600 Foundation Opens Volunteer Opportunities for Young Graduates in Rwanda Cohort 2 Applications Now Open

Young graduates and aspiring professionals in Rwanda now have an opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to agricultural and community development through the KWIGIRA 3600 Foundation (K3600F).
The Foundation has officially announced a Call for Volunteer Applications (Cohort 2) under the Young Graduates Capacities, Agriculture Production Increase (YGC&API) Program, implemented through the Social Empowerment for Quick Economic Transformation Approach (SEQETA).
This initiative aims to empower young people while promoting agricultural productivity, food security, livestock development, climate-smart agriculture, entrepreneurship, and sustainable socio-economic transformation across communities.
About KWIGIRA 3600 Foundation
Based in Kayonza District, Eastern Province, Rwanda, KWIGIRA 3600 Foundation works to strengthen communities through innovative programs focused on agriculture, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.
Through the YGC&API Program, the Foundation seeks motivated and committed young graduates who are passionate about serving communities and building professional experience.
Available Volunteer Positions
1. District Agriculture and Animal Health Management Volunteer (DAAHMV)
Main Responsibilities
Successful candidates will provide:
- District-level coordination and supervision.
- Technical support and monitoring.
- Reporting and capacity-building activities.
- Collaboration with farmer groups, cooperatives, local authorities, and project teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess a:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:

2. Crops Field Operator Volunteer (CFOV)
Main Responsibilities
Selected volunteers will support farmers through:
- Promotion of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs).
