ABOUT AL QASIMIA UNIVERSITY

Al Qasimia University is a reputable institution based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

• You must be an international student residing OUTSIDE the United Arab Emirates.
• You must have completed your secondary school (high school) certificate or its equivalent.
• You must be a Muslim (the university gives priority to Muslim students based on the nature of its programs).
• You must be fully dedicated to studying and must NOT be employed during your studies.
• You must be single or not have any dependents inside the UAE (for housing eligibility).
• Your high school grade/score must meet the minimum requirement for your chosen program.
• Students already residing inside the UAE are NOT eligible for the scholarship benefits.

BENEFITS OF THIS SCHOLARSHIP

Al Qasimia University offers one of the most generous fully funded scholarship packages in the UAE for international students. Here is what you will receive:

1. Full Tuition Coverage: All tuition fees are covered by the university at no cost to the student.
2. Monthly Stipend: Accepted students from outside the UAE receive a monthly living allowance determined by the university according to its laws and regulations.
3. Summer Stipend: The monthly stipend is also paid during the summer semester for enrolled students (summer study is optional).
4. Free Housing The university provides accommodation inside or outside the university campus in the city of Sharjah for single students coming from abroad.
5. Visa and Residency Coverage The university handles and covers all visa, residency, and identity card expenses for international students.
6. Health Insurance: Full health insurance is provided in accordance with university policies for all accepted international students.
7. Travel Ticket (Round Trip at Midpoint): When a student completes 50% of their study plan, the university covers the cost of a return travel ticket back to their home country, in accordance with the university academic calendar.
8. One-Way Ticket After Graduation: Upon graduation, the university provides a one-way ticket back to the student's home country or country of citizenship.
9. On-Campus Transportation: The university provides transportation services within the campus.

PROGRAMS AVAILABLE

Applicants must select at least three (3) preferred majors during the application. Admission priority will be given to the first choice if conditions and available seats allow. The university has the right to assign students to any of their three selected options. The Bachelor's programs currently available are:

• Bachelor in Exegesis and Quran Sciences
• Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language and Literature
• Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication
• Bachelor of Arts in Economics
• Bachelor in Foundations of Religion
• Bachelor in Jurisprudence and its Foundations
• Bachelor of Arts in Civilization and Islamic History
• Bachelor of Quranic Readings

Note: There is also an Intensive Arabic Language Program available for students who are not yet proficient in Arabic. Students in this program must complete it within a maximum of one academic year before being assigned to their main specialization.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

When submitting your application, you will need to upload the following documents. Note that all documents must be colored and clear. Most documents should be in JPG/JPEG image format, except Form 1 and Form 2 which must be in PDF format.

1. A copy of your valid passport (valid for at least 2 years) JPG format
2. Recent passport-size photo with a white background JPG format
3. Birth certificate JPG format
4. High School Certificate (final certificate) JPG format
5. Grade transcripts for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade JPG format (separate uploads)
6. COVID-19 vaccination certificate (if applicable) JPG format
7. Letter of Good Behavior translated into Arabic or English and officially attested JPG format
8. Health Clearance Certificate from a public hospital confirming the applicant is free from dangerous diseases JPG format
9. Form 1: Downloaded from the university website and submitted in PDF format
10. Form 2: Downloaded from the university website and submitted in PDF format
11. Screenshot proving that you follow Al Qasimia University on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn: JPG format
12. TOEFL or IELTS certificate (if available): JPG format
13. EmSAT Certificate (if required based on your country): JPG format

APPLICATION PROCEDURE STEPS

Follow these steps carefully to complete your application successfully:

• Step 1: Visit the Official Application Page Go to the official registration page at: https://www.alqasimia.ac.ae/en/admissionregistration/pages/registration.aspx
• Step 2: Select Your Programs Choose at least three (3) Bachelor programs in order of preference. The Fall Semester 2026/2027 is the joining semester.
• Step 3: Fill in Personal Information Provide your full name (as per passport), nationality, passport number, date of birth, country of birth, gender, religion, and marital status. Answer all required questions including COVID-19 vaccination status.
• Step 4: Provide Contact Information Enter your current country of residence, city, email address (you will need to verify your email via OTP), mobile number, WhatsApp number, and social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Skype).
• Step 5: Enter Your Academic Qualifications Provide details of your high school certificate including the school name, country, system (e.g., British, French, Nigerian NECO, Rwandan, etc.), your score, section (Scientific/Literary/Other), and the year of completion.
• Step 6: Provide Language Proficiency Details. Indicate your language of proficiency (Arabic, English, French, or Other) and provide details on any Arabic language training if applicable.
• Step 7: Upload All Required Documents Carefully upload all required documents in the correct format (JPG for most, PDF for Form 1 and Form 2). Make sure all files are colored, clear, and within the allowed file size.
• Step 8: Follow AQU on Social Media. Take a screenshot showing that you follow Al Qasimia University on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn, and upload it as part of your application.
• Step 9: Agree to the Terms. Read and agree to the scholarship terms, admission requirements, and the approval and pledge form (all available on the university website).
• Step 10: Submit Your Application. Review all your information, verify your email address, and submit your application. You can also save the form as a draft using your email address and continue later.
