ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Required language: English
  • Open to all countries except Australia and New Zealand
  • Must meet academic and English requirements for a bachelor's or postgraduate coursework degree
  • Minimum ATAR equivalent of 85 (undergraduate applicants)
  • Minimum WAM equivalent of 65 (postgraduate applicants)
  • Must be accepted into a program starting in 2026 or 2027
  • Must enroll and begin studies as stated in the Letter of Offer no deferrals allowed
  • Must comply with the university's academic progression policies
  • On-campus study only

Not Eligible If:

  • You are a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand
  • You are enrolled in Macquarie University International College
  • You are already receiving another Macquarie University scholarship

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1: Complete an online application for your chosen course at Macquarie University. After submission, you will receive a student number.
Step 2: Complete the online scholarship application form and enter "VCIS" in the Scholarship Name field.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Awarded based on academic merit
  • Valid for one academic year
  • Students must maintain satisfactory academic performance
  • Early withdrawal may require repayment of the scholarship amount
