Gasmeth Energy is committed to developing and producing methane gas from Lake Kivu in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. The company plays a vital role in distributing compressed natural gas (CNG) across Rwanda, promoting cleaner energy solutions and reducing environmental pollution.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a large organization (50+ employees)
• Must reside in Karongi District (preference given to current residents)
• Fluency in English
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, and network devices
• Install, update, and maintain operating systems and applications
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Provide technical support to users (in-person, phone, or email)
• Monitor and maintain network performance and security
• Perform regular data backups and ensure recovery systems are functional
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system checks
• Manage IT inventory including hardware and software assets
• Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps
• Perform any other related duties as assigned

• Copy of National ID or valid identification
• Any relevant professional certifications
