Gasmeth Energy is committed to developing and producing methane gas from Lake Kivu in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. The company plays a vital role in distributing compressed natural gas (CNG) across Rwanda, promoting cleaner energy solutions and reducing environmental pollution.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a large organization (50+ employees)
- Must reside in Karongi District (preference given to current residents)
- Fluency in English
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, and network devices
- Install, update, and maintain operating systems and applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Provide technical support to users (in-person, phone, or email)
- Monitor and maintain network performance and security
- Perform regular data backups and ensure recovery systems are functional
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system checks
- Manage IT inventory including hardware and software assets
- Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps
- Perform any other related duties as assigned

- Any relevant professional certifications
