The Rwanda Union of the Blind (RUB) is looking for 10 dedicated volunteers to join their groundbreaking RISE project. What Will You Actually Be Doing?

Let's break it down into three exciting areas:

Working directly with students, you'll teach Braille literacy and help students master assistive devices like Braille slates and styluses. Imagine being the person who opens up the world of reading and learning for a child; that's the impact you'll have every single day.

Empowering Teachers: You'll train teachers in inclusive education methods and Braille instruction. The best part? Your knowledge stays in the community long after you've moved on, creating a ripple effect that touches countless future students.

Is This Role Right for You?

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field
• Experience in inclusive education and working with disability organizations
• The ability to read and write Braille (this is essential!)
• Strong communication skills in Kinyarwanda and English
• A willingness to relocate for one year
