KETHA Opens Applications for International Culinary Arts and Bartending Training Program

 The Kigali Excellent Tourism and Hospitality Academy (KETHA), in partnership with Chancen International, has announced an exciting opportunity for aspiring culinary professionals in the Kicukiro District. This comprehensive training program is designed to equip participants with world-class skills in culinary arts, pastry, and bartending.

Program Overview

KETHA is offering specialized training in three key areas:

• Culinary Arts: Master the fundamentals of professional cooking and kitchen management
• Pastry and Bakery: Learn the art of creating exquisite baked goods and desserts
• Bartending: Develop expertise in mixology and beverage service (Barista skills)

The program features a unique "Study Now, Pay Later" payment structure, making professional hospitality education accessible to qualified candidates who might otherwise face financial barriers.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a resident of Kigali with a valid national ID
2. Be at least 18 years old and under 35 years of age
3. Have completed secondary education (minimum requirement)
4. Possess a valid birth certificate issued by the relevant authorities
5. Commit to completing the entire training program
6. Provide a valid email address and phone number
7. Submit a recommendation letter from local authorities (for ages 23-26, applicants must provide documentation confirming they are not registered elsewhere)
8. Be available to attend classes as scheduled
