Available Positions
1. Commercial Auditor
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Number of Positions: 1
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Review procurement and supplier invoices for compliance and accuracy.
- Verify procurement documentation.
- Monitor invoice processing.
- Maintain invoice tracking systems.
- Verify local contribution expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with GIZ financial procedures.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly invoice monitoring reports.
- Support finance administration.
- Assist the Finance Manager with assigned duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records.
2. Finance Specialist
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Number of Positions: 1
Main Responsibilities
The Finance Specialist will:
- Perform bookkeeping using SAP S/4HANA.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Post financial transactions.
- Reconcile financial accounts.
- Process supplier payments.
- Prepare ageing reports.
- Produce financial reports.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with GIZ financial policies.
- Ensure compliance with Rwandan statutory regulations.
- Report financial control weaknesses.
- Support the Finance Manager with additional assignments.
Contract Details
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Accounting
- Auditing
- Finance
- Finance Management
- Economics
- Related discipline
Preferred qualifications include:
- CPA Certification
- ACCA Certification
Experience requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience
- Previous GIZ experience is an added advantage
Technical skills:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- SAP S/4HANA experience
- Financial accounting knowledge
- Procurement processes
- Administrative procedures
Language requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills
- French or German is an added advantage
