Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Makerere University for the 2026/2027 academic year. The program targets academically talented but economically disadvantaged young people from Africa, including refugees, persons with disabilities, and other underrepresented groups. This scholarship is implemented through a partnership between Makerere University and the Mastercard Foundation. AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

The scholarship supports selected undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) and Master's degree programs offered at Makerere University's main campus under the Private Sponsorship Scheme.
