ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

While specific qualifications vary by position, all applicants must generally meet the following requirements:

  • Must hold a relevant educational qualification (Bachelor's degree or Technical/Vocational certification depending on the role)
  • Must have proven experience in the relevant field of the position applied for
  • Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Rwanda
  • Must be willing to travel across different regions of Rwanda when required
  • Must show a high level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to social impact

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Here is a detailed breakdown of what each role entails:

  1. COMMUNITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP & EMPOWERMENT OFFICER
  • Design and implement community-based entrepreneurship and empowerment programs
  • Train and mentor beneficiaries in basic business, financial literacy, and income-generating activities
  • Identify and support viable small business initiatives within communities
  • Monitor and evaluate program impact and progress regularly
  • Build strong relationships with community leaders and local partners
  • Support beneficiaries in accessing markets and broader economic opportunities
  • Prepare detailed reports on program implementation and outcomes
  1. SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT STRATEGIST
  • Develop and implement social media and content strategies aligned with the Foundation's mission
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content including text, images, and videos across all platforms
  • Manage and grow the Foundation's social media accounts and online communities
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns to increase visibility and audience engagement
  • Monitor analytics and performance data to continuously optimize content and campaigns
  • Capture and share impactful stories from the field that reflect the Foundation's work
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms and communications
  1. HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS, INNOVATION & FUNDS MOBILISATION
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for partnerships, innovation, and fundraising
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Lead proposal development, grant writing, and donor engagement initiatives
  • Identify and drive innovative solutions to enhance the Foundation's overall organisational impact
  • Represent the Foundation at high-level meetings, conferences, and national forums
  • Ensure effective management of all active partnerships and timely donor reporting
  • Lead the resource mobilisation agenda to ensure the Foundation's financial sustainability
  1. SENIOR TAILORING INSTRUCTOR & PRODUCTION SPECIALIST
  • Train and mentor beneficiaries in tailoring and garment production skills
  • Develop practical and structured training programs and oversee full skills development
  • Supervise production processes and ensure consistently high-quality standards
  • Design patterns, cut fabrics, and oversee all stages of garment construction
  • Manage production timelines and ensure on-time delivery of all orders
  • Maintain all tailoring equipment and materials in good working order
  • Support innovation in product design and market-oriented production strategies
