RwandAir, Rwanda's national flag carrier, is looking for a strategic project management professional to join its growing team. The airline connects Rwanda to destinations across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, and is now recruiting for a key leadership role within its Corporate and Strategic Planning division.

Who Should Apply

To be considered, candidates must have:

• A Master's Degree in Project Management (preferred)
• Advanced Project Management training (IATA)
• A recognised project management certification such as PMP or Prince2
• At least 5 years of experience in the airline industry, including a minimum of 2 years leading projects that span multiple departments
• Proven experience in vendor management, risk management, people management, and change management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, MS Office, and WBS Chart Pro
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• In-depth knowledge of the aviation and transport industry

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Strategic Planning, your core responsibilities will include:

• Initiating, planning, and managing all strategic projects across the organisation
• Developing project plans, business cases, and technology evaluation frameworks
• Tracking project performance across schedule, budget, risks, and resources
• Collaborating with Finance and other departments to monitor costs, revenue, and return on investment
• Translating company strategy into actionable project roadmaps
• Leading project meetings and communicating progress to stakeholders, steering committees, and executives
• Supporting equity partner airlines on profit improvement initiatives
• Embedding and improving project management methodologies in line with RwandAir's PMO governance
