1. Registered Nurse (36 Positions)

About the Role

King Faisal Hospital is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across various clinical departments.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (A0) in General Nursing
  • Minimum of three years of experience at a Level Two Teaching Hospital
  • Experience in pediatrics, critical care, operating theatre, A&E, or neonatology is a strong advantage
  • Must be registered with a relevant professional body and hold a valid license to practice

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Committed to delivering customer-focused, compassionate health care
  • Teaching and management skills are an added advantage
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Ability to analyze detailed information and work effectively in a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments

2. Hostess (3 Positions)

About the Role

We are looking for organized, patient-focused Hostesses to support the safe and efficient delivery of meals to patients across hospital wards and units.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Advanced Certificate (A2) in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in a hospital setting
  • Additional qualifications relevant to the field are an added advantage

Skills & Abilities

  • Deep knowledge of work procedures, stress and time management, and safety standards
  • Ability to operate catering machinery and equipment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Patience and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Good deductive and reasoning skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all meals served per shift, including special diets
  • Record and report all complaints received from patients and nursing personnel
  • Compile and submit reports to the Catering Services Supervisor
  • Implement food tracing and safety protocols during transport from the kitchen to wards
  • Monitor and manage food wastage in accordance with hospital policies
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all food trolleys and equipment
  • Investigate complaints and develop action plans for resolution
  • Verify that meals served match daily requests and that new admissions receive prescribed meals
  • Assist in conducting monthly patient satisfaction feedback at ward level
  • Monitor fridge temperatures daily in line with Infection Control and Prevention Guidelines
  • Report pest sightings and any equipment deficits to the Catering Services Supervisor
  • Maintain a schedule of equipment servicing and plan food provision around downtime

3. Porter (2 Positions)

About the Role

KFHR is seeking reliable and physically capable Porters to support warehouse operations, logistics, and the safe handling of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Advanced Certificate (A2) in a relevant field
  • Additional training in logistics or inventory management is preferred
  • At least two years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or pharmaceutical environments is an added advantage

Skills & Abilities

  • Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and move heavy items
  • Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in storage and handling
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cleaning and sanitization of storage areas and handling zones in compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and safety regulations
  • Support warehouse staff in moving and organizing pharmaceutical products and medical supplies
  • Ensure correct disposal of waste in line with pharmaceutical waste management policies
  • Help receive and unpack deliveries, verifying contents against packing slips and reporting discrepancies
  • Maintain clear walkways and organized storage areas to promote safety and efficiency
  • Assist with stock picking and packing under supervision, with proper handling to prevent contamination or damage
  • Operate trolleys and basic handling tools safely and responsibly
  • Support the preparation of dispatch orders and assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Report equipment faults, hazards, or incidents promptly to the supervisor
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to hygiene, safety, and product handling

4. Cook (2 Positions)

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Cooks to support the preparation of safe, nutritious meals for patients and staff, in full compliance with hospital catering policies and health standards.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Advanced Certificate (A2) in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field
  • At least two years of working experience in a hospital setting
  • Additional qualifications relevant to the field are an added advantage

Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of work procedures, food safety, planning, and organization
  • Satisfactory record of continuous professional development
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen machinery and equipment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Patience and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Good deductive and reasoning skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with dietitians to ensure all patient meals meet required nutritional standards, including for those on special or fluid-based diets
  • Monitor kitchen expenditures in alignment with the approved budget and hospital policies
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment; coordinate preplanned servicing and safeguard assets as per annual inventory requirements
  • Maintain adequate stock levels through timely requisitioning and apply First-In, First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation practices
  • Resolve daily operational issues and submit monthly operational reports by the 5th of each month
  • Monitor cleaning procedures to maintain high hygiene standards, oversee staff health, and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Develop contingency catering plans for patient services during emergencies
  • Attend mandatory training, induction, and orientation sessions, and communicate catering policies to all staff
  • Maintain accurate records of kitchen activities, equipment temperatures, and food spoilage
  • Conduct regular inspections of cold storage safety mechanisms, alarms, fly screens, and UV lights

About the Role

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Diploma (A1) in Medical Imaging Sciences
  • Evidence of professional development in a relevant specialty area
  • Minimum of three years of experience in radiography and medical imaging

  • Must be registered with a relevant professional body

Skills & Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge in the area of specialty
  • Strong understanding of radiological processes and procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement advanced radiographic and sonographic practices within the department

  • Assist the Unit Manager in implementing research and evidence-based practice, auditing clinical outcomes, and setting clinical standards

  • Support research and development as radiographic practice continues to evolve
  • Contribute to the education and assessment of staff undertaking specialist or further education programs
