BOUT THE ROLE
The Jonathan Foundation is seeking an accomplished and mission-driven Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership over the Foundation's school. This is a senior role for a seasoned professional who can translate vision into action overseeing daily operations, driving institutional excellence, and inspiring high-performing teams across academic and administrative functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee all school operations, ensuring seamless and effective functioning across every department
- Design and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with the Foundation's mission
- Optimize the use of resources people, facilities, and budgets to achieve sustainable impact
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a large multidisciplinary team of academic and administrative staff
- Champion staff growth through coaching, training, and capacity-building programs
- Collaborate closely with academic leadership to maintain high standards of educational delivery
- Cultivate strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the broader community
- Contribute to institutional strategic planning, program scaling, and long-term growth
- Drive continuous process improvement to boost operational efficiency
- Uphold compliance with organizational policies, relevant regulations, and ethical standards
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree in Education, Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 8 years of experience spanning both education and management
- Proven track record managing large teams and complex operational environments
- Demonstrated commitment to education and social impact
