BOUT THE ROLE

The Jonathan Foundation is seeking an accomplished and mission-driven Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership over the Foundation's school. This is a senior role for a seasoned professional who can translate vision into action overseeing daily operations, driving institutional excellence, and inspiring high-performing teams across academic and administrative functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee all school operations, ensuring seamless and effective functioning across every department
  • Design and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with the Foundation's mission
  • Optimize the use of resources people, facilities, and budgets to achieve sustainable impact
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a large multidisciplinary team of academic and administrative staff
  • Champion staff growth through coaching, training, and capacity-building programs
  • Collaborate closely with academic leadership to maintain high standards of educational delivery
  • Cultivate strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the broader community
  • Contribute to institutional strategic planning, program scaling, and long-term growth
  • Drive continuous process improvement to boost operational efficiency
  • Uphold compliance with organizational policies, relevant regulations, and ethical standards

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Master's degree in Education, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
  • At least 8 years of experience spanning both education and management
  • Proven track record managing large teams and complex operational environments
  • Demonstrated commitment to education and social impact
