Position Overview: Relationship Officer - Retail Banking

Key Responsibilities
As a Relationship Officer at I&M Bank, you will be entrusted with diverse responsibilities that span client acquisition, portfolio management, and customer service excellence:
Business Development & Client Management
- Prospecting: Actively seek out and identify prospective clients through networking, referrals, and market research
- Cross-Selling & Upselling: Promote and sell various bank services and products to meet client needs and expand the customer base

Portfolio & Loan Management

- Field Verification: Conduct field visits and carry out verification of loans to improve portfolio management and reduce risk
- Loan Origination: Process and originate loans, ensuring compliance with the bank's lending policies and procedures
- NPL Management: Manage and ensure the reduction of Non-Performing Loans (NPL) rate through proactive monitoring and recovery strategies
Administrative & Support Functions
- Client Services: Assist clients with various services including loans, cash management, account opening, interest rate swaps, letters of credit, foreign exchange, and insurance products
- Financial Monitoring: Monitor clients' finances and commitments regularly, maintaining updated records of all transactions
- Account Opening: Assist customers with account opening activities and ensure all documentation is properly completed
- Credit File Management: Open and maintain credit files for customers applying for loans
- Committee Support: Perform secretarial activities for the credit committee, including documentation and meeting coordination
Required Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:

Professional Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar field within the banking sector is required. This experience should demonstrate:
