What Is an Income Share Agreement (ISA)?

An Income Share Agreement is a financing model where Chancen Rwanda covers your tuition costs upfront, and in return, you agree to pay back a small percentage of your income after you graduate and begin working.

What makes this different from a traditional loan is the fairness built into the model. There are no fixed monthly repayments piling up while you are still studying. There is no interest accumulating while you are trying to focus on your coursework. And crucially, if you are not yet earning, you are not yet paying. How It Works  3 Simple Steps

Step 1  Apply and Enroll: Choose a program that matches your goals, fill in the Chancen Rwanda expression of interest form, and get enrolled without paying any tuition upfront.

Step 2  Study and Graduate: Focus entirely on building your skills and completing your program. Chancen covers your tuition throughout, so your only job is to learn and grow.

Step 3 Earn, Then Repay: Once you graduate and secure employment, you begin paying back a small, agreed percentage of your income. Not before. Only after you are earning.

Option 2  Scan the QR Code: If you have the Chancen Rwanda flyer, simply scan the QR code with your phone to be taken directly to the registration page.

Option 3  Send a Text Message: Text your institution or university code to 0790003647 and the Chancen Rwanda team will reach out to you directly. For example, send RICEM 001 to register interest in the Microfinance Professionals certificate.

Final Thoughts
