A Program Built for Impact

The Youth Leadership Program 2026-2027 is more than just a training opportunity; it's a launchpad for community transformation. Operating under the Digital Skills for Employability (DSE) program in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, this initiative is part of a bold vision aligned with Rwanda's National Strategy for Transformation (NST2) and Vision 2050.

Through a powerful consortium including DOT Rwanda, Intango Technical Secondary School, Igire Rwanda Organization, kLab, and SOLVIT Africa, this program aims to empower over 10,000 young Rwandans with the digital and entrepreneurial skills essential for thriving in today's economy.

Your Role: Digital Champion and Business Coach

Imagine being the catalyst for change in your community. As a participant in this program, you'll be trained to become a Digital Champion and Business Coach, equipped to support micro, small, and informal business owners across your district. You'll deliver training in fundamental digital literacy, entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing skills that are critical for business survival and growth in the digital age.

Who Should Apply?

This program is designed for young people aged 21-35 who are currently not in education, employment, or training (NEET) and who meet the following criteria:

• University, college, or secondary school graduates (secondary school graduates must have at least two years of demonstrated community engagement)
• Basic proficiency with online collaboration tools like Google Drive and Zoom
• Fluency in both English and Kinyarwanda
• Deep passion for community empowerment, digital inclusion, and gender equality
• Residency in and commitment to working in one of the eligible districts across Kigali, Southern, Eastern, Northern, or Western provinces for one year

The program particularly encourages applications from young women, youth with disabilities, and refugees. DOT Rwanda is committed to creating an inclusive environment and provides reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process.
