Special Benefit: Merit Scholarship recipients receive a double monthly stipend twice the regular scholarship amount! This means up to 9,000 TL for undergraduates, 13,000 TL for master's students, and 18,000 TL for PhD candidates.

Merit Scholarship Requirements:

For Undergraduate Students:

• 90% General Weighted Average (GWA)
• Academic Qualification Exam: SAT 1400 with Math 680/800 (for engineering) or SAT 1350 (for other departments), OR International Baccalaureate (IB) minimum 33 with High Level (HL) achievement
• Language Proficiency: TOEFL IBT 80 or IELTS 6.5
• Plus at least ONE of the following:
• Top 10 ranking in your country's national examinations
• Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal from recognized International Science Olympiads (Math, Physics, Biology, Informatics, or Astronomy/Astrophysics)

For Master's Students:

• 90% General Weighted Average (GWA)
• Academic Qualification Exam:
  • ALES Quantitative 80 (engineering) / 75 (science) / 75 Equal Weight (other departments), OR
  • GRE Quantitative 155 (engineering) / 153 (other departments)
• Language Proficiency: TOEFL IBT 90 or IELTS 7.0

For PhD Students:

• 90% General Weighted Average (GWA)
• Academic Qualification Exam:
  • ALES Quantitative 85 (engineering) / 75 (science) / 75 Equal Weight (other departments), OR
  • GRE Quantitative 160 (engineering) / 157 (other departments)
• Language Proficiency: TOEFL IBT 90 or IELTS 7.0

Eligibility Requirements

Academic Achievement Standards

The program maintains high academic standards to ensure excellence:

• Associate & Bachelor's Degree: Minimum 70% academic achievement
• Graduate Programs (Master's & PhD): Minimum 75% academic achievement
