Are you passionate about serving others and making a difference through organizational excellence? HOPE International is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our Savings Group Programs department in Kigali, Rwanda.
About the Role
The Savings Group Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring our department runs smoothly and effectively. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support meaningful work while developing your administrative and project management skills in an international setting.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Savings Group Programs, you'll be the organizational backbone of our team, managing everything from calendars and meetings to travel logistics and departmental events.
What You'll Do
Keep Us Organized
You'll manage department-wide meetings, maintain team calendars, and ensure everyone stays on track with their commitments. From developing agendas to taking notes and following up on action items, you'll be the person who keeps our team moving forward together.
Support Our Mission
Beyond scheduling, you'll monitor our strategic plan goals, manage departmental KPIs, and help prepare presentations for senior leadership. Your work will directly contribute to documenting and celebrating our progress toward helping communities thrive.
Facilitate Meaningful Connections
Whether coordinating team retreats, planning virtual meetings, or organizing in-person gatherings, you'll help foster the team culture that makes our work joyful and effective. You'll also support team travel, working with security and insurance vendors to ensure safe, well-planned trips.
Manage Important Projects
Using project management tools and your organizational expertise, you'll help leadership prioritize requests and keep high-priority projects on track. You'll also oversee the SG Capacity Accelerator fund and ensure timely completion of expense reports.
Who You Are
We're looking for someone who brings both skills and heart to this role. You have a personal Christian faith and are committed to HOPE International's mission. You're exceptionally organized, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Most importantly, you genuinely love serving others. You communicate with intention and encouragement, building up those around you even when your task list is full. You're enthusiastic about improving processes, proficient in Microsoft Office, and comfortable working across cultures.
