Available Positions
1. Cleaner
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and supporting daily administrative operations within the Chancery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the Chancery.
- Prepare and serve refreshments to staff and visitors.
- Arrange meeting venues professionally.
- Support office administration.
- Purchase office supplies when required.
- Perform messenger duties.
- Assist during Mission events.
- Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Secondary Education (Grade 12).
- Minimum one year of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English, Kiswahili, and Kinyarwanda.

- Flexibility to work beyond normal office hours.
2. Receptionist
The Receptionist will manage the Mission's consular reception area while supporting administrative and document management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reception section.
- Receive and process consular documents.
- Handle incoming and outgoing telephone inquiries.
- Maintain filing systems and registers.
- Support office administration.
- Assist during Mission events.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in a relevant field.
- At least three years of administrative experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of Consular or Diaspora matters is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English, Kiswahili, and Kinyarwanda.
3. Gardener
The High Commission is also recruiting a Gardener to maintain the Official Residence and ensure the compound remains clean and attractive.
Responsibilities
- Cut and maintain lawns.
- Care for flowers, plants, and fencing.
- Maintain cleanliness around the Official Residence.
- Coordinate servicing of gardening equipment.
- Support Mission events.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Secondary Education (Grade 12).
- At least one year of gardening experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English, Kiswahili, and Kinyarwanda.
4. Driver (Two Positions)
The Mission seeks experienced and responsible Drivers to transport staff safely while supporting administrative operations.
Main Duties
- Safely transport Mission staff and authorized personnel.
- Ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and secure.
- Maintain vehicle insurance and servicing schedules.
- Keep accurate mileage and fuel records.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections.
- Comply with Rwandan traffic regulations.
- Deliver official email and documents.
- Assist with administrative and messenger duties.
- Support Mission events.
Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- Secondary Education (Grade 12).
- Valid driving license.
- Police Clearance Certificate.
- Computer literacy.
- At least five years of driving experience.
- Fluency in English, Kiswahili, and Kinyarwanda.

5. Consular Assistant
The Consular Assistant will provide administrative support within the Consular Section while assisting with document processing and customer service.

- Manage the Consular reception.
- Process consular applications.
- Handle documentation and filing.

- Respond to consular inquiries.
- Support office administration.
- Assist during Mission events.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
