Internship Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL) and Knowledge Management Expert, the selected intern will support monitoring, evaluation, communication, and organizational learning activities.
The internship aims to strengthen project visibility while documenting and communicating the impact of interventions in aquaculture, fisheries, and horticulture across Rwanda.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and Evaluation Responsibilities
The intern will support project monitoring and performance tracking through the following activities:
- Collecting, compiling, and verifying project data from field activities
- Supporting the tracking of project indicators and performance targets
- Maintaining monitoring databases and filing systems
- Participating in baseline studies, surveys, assessments, and evaluations
- Assisting in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly monitoring reports
- Support data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation
- Conducting field visits to monitor project implementation
- Gathering stakeholder and beneficiary feedback
- Ensuring proper documentation of project activities and achievements
Communication Responsibilities
The selected candidate will also contribute to communication and visibility initiatives by:
- Developing success stories and impact stories
- Assisting in the preparation of newsletters, brochures, and reports
