SheCanCODE Java Backend Associate Program 2026 for Young Women
SheCanCODE is now accepting applications for the Java Backend Associate Program under the Digital Skills for Employability (DSE) Initiative. This fully sponsored training program is supported by the Mastercard Foundation and Digital Opportunity Trust, offering selected participants a completely free opportunity to gain advanced backend development skills and prepare for employment in the tech industry.
The program is specifically designed for young women who are passionate about software development and want to build professional careers in backend engineering. The training will run for two intensive months, combining both physical and remote learning sessions. In addition, participants will receive a stipend during the training period and career support after successful completion of the program.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Be available for both in-person and remote learning sessions
Available Position
- Java Backend Associate Trainee
Duties and Responsibilities
Selected participants will be expected to:
- Attend and actively participate in all training sessions
- Attend physical classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Complete assignments, coding exercises, and backend development projects
- Collaborate with mentors and fellow trainees
- Demonstrate professionalism, discipline, and commitment
- Apply Java backend skills in real-world practical tasks
