If you are a Rwandan student with a dream of becoming a doctor, this is your moment. UMST University Rwanda, in partnership with HEC-Rwanda, has announced a scholarship opportunity for qualified Rwandan nationals to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). About UMST University Rwanda

Founded in 1996 in Khartoum, Sudan, UMST started with just two faculties and has since grown into a prestigious institution with 17 faculties, over 7,000 students, and 27+ postgraduate programs.

When conflict disrupted its Sudan operations in 2023, UMST identified Rwanda as the ideal home for its first Cross-Border Campus. Today, the Kigali campus is fully operational, accredited by Rwanda's Higher Education Council, and students rotate through six hospitals across Kigali and Rwanda.

What You Will Do as a Student
