Position 1: SHE Coordinator Gisenyi

Job Purpose

The SHE Coordinator ensures the brewery drives continuous improvement toward zero accidents and zero incidents across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

AreaResponsibilities
Safety & SustainabilityLead by example on safety behaviours; support the Brewery Manager in leading the Safety Pillar
Risk AssessmentPlan and execute High-Level Risk Assessments; introduce LMRA for contractors
Incident InvestigationLead accident and incident investigations; define roles and responsibilities in the process
Safety ComplianceEnsure preventive observations are carried out under the Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) framework
Governance & PerformanceDevelop and maintain daily, monthly, and yearly safety control systems including safety tags and near-miss reporting
People ManagementManage Safety Emergency, First Aid, Process Safety, and BBS champions per Heineken procedures
Safety TrainingTrain employees, managers, and contractors in BBS, LMRA, and preventive observations
Safe OperationsOrganise and validate safety instructions including SOPs and One Point Lessons (OPLs)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Labour Safety or Law, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in occupational or process safety, preferably in the food and beverages industry
  • Strong background in safety compliance, safety culture, contractor management, and emergency response
  • Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda, written and spoken
  • NEBOSH General Certificate is an added advantage

Position 2: Warehouse Controller Kigali, Kicukiro

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Controller manages timely warehouse operations, verifies inbound and outbound material movements, coordinates production supply, and ensures finished products are shipped to the market based on daily sales demand.

Key Responsibilities

Truck Loading & OffloadingCoordinate with security, transportation, and customer services; allocate forklift drivers and manpower; process orders electronically; verify consignment documents and approve PODs
Inventory ManagementConduct shift-based stock counts; prepare daily reconciliation reports; supervise RPM sampling; participate in monthly stock takes with finance
Storage ActivitiesAllocate resources for safe storage; apply FIFO or FEFO methods; coordinate cleaning; manage traceability labelling and disposal of non-conforming products
Customer ComplaintsTrace and record complaint details; coordinate destruction of non-conforming products; maintain destruction records
Documents ManagementManage sales returns documentation; perform data entry; maintain physical and electronic archives; raise manual invoices for scraps and obsolete materials
Reporting & ImprovementReport warehouse performance hourly; track third-party KPIs; participate in TPM activities using tools such as 5WHYs and RCFA
Stakeholder CollaborationWork with brewing, packaging, customer service, security, and third-party entities for seamless operations

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Warehouse and Distribution, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations
  • Understanding of order management and transportation
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
