📚 Available Programs

The scholarship is available for two undergraduate programs:

1. Bachelor of Science with Honours in Anesthesia.

Academic Requirement: At least Grade C in Biology and Chemistry

2.Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences.

A career at the intersection of science and medicine. Biomedical laboratory scientists are the backbone of diagnosis and disease management.

Academic Requirement: At least Grade D in Biology and Chemistry

Who Can Apply? Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

Have completed general secondary education (S6)
Have studied one of the following subject combinations:
- 🔵 Physics Chemistry Biology (PCB)
- 🔵 Mathematics Chemistry Biology (MCB)
- 🔵 Biology Chemistry Geography (BCG)
- 🔵 Associate Nurses programmes

Additional conditions:

You must NOT currently be receiving another government-funded scholarship or scholarship from government partners
You must NOT have already graduated from a university-level programme

Important Information Read This Carefully

Before you apply, there are a few key things you need to know:

1. Admission Test: Applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be invited to sit for an admission test scheduled for March 16 and 17, 2026. Your final scholarship selection will be based on your performance in this test so prepare well!

2. Ministry of Health Contract: Selected students will be required to sign a contract with the Ministry of Health, committing to serve in the Rwandan health system for a specified period after graduation. This is an honour and a responsibility and it means your career is secured from day one.

3. One Scholarship at a Time: You cannot hold this scholarship alongside another government-funded scholarship. If you are already on a government programme, this one is not for you but if you are not, you are in the clear.
