    POSITION OVERVIEW

    • Position: Reception Intern - AIMS Research and Innovation Centre 
    • Location: Kigali, Rwanda 
    • Contract Type: Full-Time, One-Year Contract

    • Reporting To: Manager, Operations and Financial Reporting

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Reception Intern will serve as a key ambassador of the AIMS brand, responsible for:

    Front Desk & Guest Relations

    Greet and welcome guests, students, researchers, staff, and visitors professionally

      Communication Management

      Answer and direct phone calls professionally

        Administrative Support

        Sort and distribute incoming mail

          Scheduling & Coordination

          Schedule meetings and appointments

            Data Management

            Produce and maintain spreadsheets

              Facility Management

              Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable

                REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

                Educational Requirements

                Diploma or University degree in Communication/Administration/Hospitality Management/Law

                  Essential Skills

                  Technical Skills:

                  Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

                    Language Requirements:

                    Competent in English or French (both languages would be an advantage)
