Age Requirement

Basic IT Literacy:

Main Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Officer/Teller, your daily duties will include:

Customer Service Functions

Front Desk Operations:

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally
  • Answer inquiries about SACCO products and services
  • Guide customers through account opening procedures
  • Explain loan products and savings options

Transaction Processing:

  • Process deposits and withdrawals accurately
  • Handle cash transactions securely
  • Maintain proper cash balancing procedures
  • Issue receipts and transaction confirmations

Account Management:

  • Update customer account information
  • Monitor account activities for accuracy
  • Assist with passbook updates
  • Process loan applications

Administrative Tasks

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate transaction records
  • File customer documentation properly
  • Prepare daily cash reports
  • Archive important documents

Complaint Handling:

  • Listen to customer concerns attentively
  • Resolve issues within your authority
  • Escalate complex problems to management
  • Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction

Promotional Activities:

  • Educate customers about SACCO benefits
