Are you passionate about agriculture and community development? The Union of Cooperatives for Tea Cultivation (UCTHEN) in Gicumbi and Byumba, Gacurabwenge, is looking for qualified Agricultural Extension Officers (Agronomists) to join their team!

About This Opportunity

UCTHEN is seeking dedicated professionals who can work directly with tea farmers, providing essential agricultural guidance and support to improve cultivation practices and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity for agronomists who want to make a real impact in Rwanda's agricultural sector.

Key Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Must be unmarried (single status required)
• Age: Must not exceed 45 years old
• Work Schedule: Available to work 6 days per week with only one day off
• Residency: Willing to live near the workplace (accommodation provided - 2 rooms)
• Contract: Must be available for at least 6 months
• Location: Comfortable working in rural/agricultural settings
• Additional: Should be able to work with minimal supervision in the field
• Priority: Preference given to Category A degree holders who have completed their internship
