About the Opportunity

CHANCEN International is seeking a talented individual who will support graduates throughout their repayment journey, maintain accurate data systems, and ensure the effective implementation of our Income Share Agreement (ISA) repayment process. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

Repayment Monitoring & Collection

You'll be at the forefront of our repayment operations, tracking and following up on ISA repayments with precision and professionalism. Your role includes maintaining compliance on both due and overdue payments, ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently. This responsibility requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Engagement with Graduates & Guardians

Building and maintaining trusted relationships is at the heart of this position. You'll work directly with graduates and their guardians, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the repayment journey. Your ability to communicate with empathy, understanding, and cultural sensitivity will be crucial in fostering positive, long-term relationships that support successful outcomes for all parties involved.

Data Management & Reporting

As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for updating and managing all repayment and employment data. This involves maintaining accurate records, generating insightful reports, and ensuring our data systems reflect current information. Your work will directly inform strategic decisions and help us continuously improve our support for graduates.

Compliance & Recovery

You'll ensure that all repayment activities align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This includes implementing recovery strategies when needed, maintaining documentation standards, and upholding the highest levels of professional and ethical conduct in all interactions.

Who We're Looking For: Minimum Qualifications

Educational Background

We require a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Your academic foundation should provide you with a solid understanding of financial principles and business operations.

Professional Experience

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of experience in repayments, collections, financial services, or customer relations. We value candidates who have demonstrated success in similar roles and can apply their experience to our unique context of educational financing and social impact.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role. You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, creating reports, and analyzing data. Experience with CRM systems and data tools is an added advantage that will help you excel in this position from day one.

Communication Excellence

Strong communication skills in both English and Kinyarwanda are required. You'll need to articulate complex financial information clearly, listen actively to graduates' concerns, and maintain professional correspondence across diverse stakeholder groups.

Presentation Abilities

We're looking for someone with strong presentation and public-speaking abilities. Whether you're explaining repayment terms to a graduate, presenting data to internal teams, or representing our organization in community settings, your ability to communicate confidently and persuasively will be essential.
