Position Overview

Reports To: Fleet Manager
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday during official hours
Response Time: 15-20 minutes to transportation requests

As a Company Driver, you'll operate company vehicles while receiving training in fleet management, maintenance, and technical inspections. This dual-role approach transforms a typical driving position into a comprehensive career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation Duties:

• Transport staff to meetings, field sites, and various locations
• Deliver and pick up materials, equipment, and documents
• Run essential errands supporting organizational operations
• Ensure vehicle security at all times

Vehicle Management:

• Complete daily vehicle logbooks recording all movements
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Implement fleet management plans with your manager
• Report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime

Technical Development:

• Assist with technical responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership
• Participate in training for audits and inspections
• Support technical services during non-driving periods

Driver Technician Level

• Gross Salary: RWF 165,340/month
• Transport Allowance: RWF 83,900 gross
• Retention Pay: RWF 35,000/month (taxable)
